About the Project
CDG was hired by Holladay Properties as the design-build contractor for the complete renovation of the former Westgate offices on Big Sand Lake. This initial phase involved stripping the existing shell down to the concrete structure and reconstructing the entire envelope for future tenant build-out. When Select Specialty Hospital leased the entire building from Holladay, they chose Construction & Design Group of Florida as their contractor for their new 63-Bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital Facility. This second phase of construction included all new interiors, including all new electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and medical gas systems along with two new separate structures to house the generator, propane tanks, and oxygen farm. CDG navigated the complexities of building a hospital within an existing post-tension structure with diligence and delivered the project under budget.
